Temple: The Obaku sect. The 45th chief abbot of Manpuku-ji. Shoun-ji in Himeji, Hyogo.
Data: He was ordained as a Obaku Zen monk by Tokuun in Beppo-in, the sub temple of Obaku Manpuku-ji in 1848. He practiced Zen in Enichi-ji in Fukuoka and Shobo-ji in Shiga. He continued to practice Zen under KanrinGyojo and Doei Tsusho. He was invited to be the abbot of Shoun-ji in Himeji, Hyogo and then he was recommended to be the 45th chief abbot of Manpuku-ji in 1912. He retired in the net year.
