We opened this Home Page convincing that recent communication system "Internet" may help the development of guide dog activities. We are planning to provide various information through this Home Page in the future. But it is true that without knowing the interests and needs of the people who concern about our activities, it will not be able to give any good information. From this point of view, the Association is aiming to establish a significant Home Page by exchanging opinions with many people who are concerned.
It will take a little more time and needs outspoken opinion and warm support from the people to make this Home Page high quality which is useful not only for the people in Kansai Area but also for the people in all over Japan and the World. And needless to say that all the information obtained from this Home Page should be used for the benefit to blind people as principle. Under present circumstances, we have to admit that there are still many people who do not know much about the guide dog activities or the existence of discriminative treatment toward blind people. To improve this situation, as a first step it would be necessary to enrich the contents of this Home Page to give fundamental knowledge, but also a technical information to fulfill the interests of the people who want more professional know ledges. Since the Association is a completely non-profit organization, the fund raising is one of our important tasks to make us possible to offer guide dogs with free. Through this Home Page, we would like to appeal to your participation in our volunteer programs to support our activities as well as raising funds from plans such as membership fees, contributions, sales of charity goods, etc.
