Obibelt (width: 31 cm, length: 5 m) is one of the Japanese traditional culture. Karakane and Koyouhaku are worn in wedding ceremonies, parties, etc. Karakane is a graceful kimono designed in classical style, woven through processes in which thin fibers of gold (cut from a paper with gold leaf cover) are used. However in Koyouhaku a single color is applied in modern design. What is your impression about obi? |
