The detail of the statue of Ramesses II.
- The statues are 20m high and more than 4m from ear to ear.
The small statues of his family are sculptured between the legs of each colossus, including the daughters (and his wives) Nebet Taui and Bent Anat, his mother Tuya, his wife Nofretari, his son Amen her Kopechef, his other daughter Merit Amen.
Great Temple, Pronaos.
- Pronaos with the eight Osiris pillars.
- The pronaos is a vast rectangular hall, 18m long and 16.70m wide.
- Each Osiris pillar is 10m high and depicting Osiris with the features of Ramesses.
- The paintings of the battle of Kadesh, the war against the Hittites, on the north wall of the pronaos.
