• The sacred boats of the three godds had been in the sanctuary behind th hypostyle hall.

The courtyard of the temple of Ramesses III (XX Dynasty),

• The courtyard is surrounded on three sides by Osiris pillars.
• The tall column featuring an open papyrus capital is the remains of the gigantic pavilion of the Ethiopian king Taharka. The column is 21m high and have supported a wooden ceiling destined to protect the cacred boats.
