- The south facad as below is the superimpose of north facade on a stone wall of the cella.
This is the one of examples of the tendency to graphical expression and the way of formalization in Roman architecture.
The other examples of superimpose are seen in the page of Palazzo del Te and the facade of San Giorgio Maggiore.
