Yes, it's quite dangerous to use national flags in such a way, because it hides a diversity of people who live in the nations. For example, President son of a Bush and a Nobel prize winner Jimmy Carter are also Americans!
I hope you don't lose sight of diversity in all nations. The government today may not be a true representative of the nation even in democtratic United States.
Fear, anger and hatred are the way to a dark side that destroy oneself.
In the United States nowadays, is not there any Jedi who can overcome a national hatred and anger just as Luke Skywalker did in "Return of the Jedi"?
I cannot understand why a country created a concept of "a Jedi knight" can do such a terrible and senseless bombing against Afghanistan that only leads to more and greater anger and hatred. The dark age is coming. It seems now that the world's only superpower is reigned by "Sith."(Please search about "Jedi" and "Sith" at www.starwars.com)
May the Jedi return to the United States soon!
