FOOL OF THE WEEK
A Movement Against
Lovers' Christmas?

(December18, 1997)

In the last period of Edo era, young Samurais insisted of expulsion of Europeans and did lots of terrors.
This winter, a group of young people advocates to expel Christianity and did lots of terrors.

Hiropon Ito (A fictitious name. 20 years old.) who was arrested of cutting a Christmas Tree in a church said,
'I have no girl friend! I can't bear Lovers' Christmas! Go away, Christmas!! Go away, Christianity!!'

In Japan, Christmas Eve has been a Day for Lovers for more than these10 years.
It's not because of Christianity but because of commercialism in Japan.
So Hiropon and his fellows should not do terror against Christianity, but they couldn't understand it. What a pity!

(Of course above story is fiction. There's no terrorism against Christianity in Japan today.
Merry Christmas!!)
