UtsuUtsu Essay
The Days of Disasters
~UtsuUtsu means cheerlessly, and UkiUki means cheerfully.~
(December4, 1997)

Last week and last Sunday, I had lots of mishaps.

At first, on Thursday, a tire of my bicycle blew out and I had to replace it.

On Saturday, when I was going out by bicycle, the rain seemed to be getting harder and even lightning streaked across the sky.
'Oh, I need to wear a raincoat.'
I wore it, but the rain soon got lighter and lighter. I didn't have to wear a raincoat. An umbrella was enough.
When I was to go home, it didn't rain. So, I didn't wear a raincoat. But soon, it started to rain heavily, and I was wet through.
I forgot a promise, and my friend got angry.
I couldn't refuse to do a gratis work for a Christmas party and took on it, though I was very busy for a troublesome work already.
These happened on Saturday.

The climax was on Sunday.
When I was riding my bicycle, my digital camera dropped from a pocket of my jacket, and hopped on an asphalt,
'Dong, Tong, Tong, Patam'
It was destroyed.

I hope the unfortunate time has already passed me.
