TamagotCha
(May 8, 1997)
A portable computer game 'Tamagotch'(Produced by BANDAI) has been booming in Japan for these 5 months. It is a kind of simulation game in which a player brings up an imaginary creature, 'Tamagotch'.

Now, I'll show you a recipe for a new cocktail, 'TamagotCha'.
'Tamago' means 'egg', and 'Cha' means 'tea' in Japanese.
And as you guess, I was inspired by 'Tamagotch' although I have never played the game.
- Make a cup of strong tea and cool it.
(I used a Japanese green tea of Uji in Kyoto. But black tea, matte, oo-long tea, herb tea, and any other kind of teas can be used.)
- Cool an egg yolk.
!!WARNING!!@Use a safe and fresh egg only!!
- Cool a white spirit of dry taste.
(I used Awamori of Okinawa. But gin, vodka, white rum, tequila, and any other kind of white spirits can be used.)
- Beat the cooled egg yolk.
- Into a glass, pour the cooled tea and cooled spirit at a one-one ratio, put in the beaten egg yolk, stir them quickly.
- UkiUki Cocktail 'TamagotCha' is completed.
- If you like, please put a slice of a boiled egg on the glass.
(The taste of 'TamagotCha' is ...... a secret! Sorry!!)
