Regular Semesters

Winter Semester: 2nd week of Jan. ~ 1st week of April

Spring Semester: 3rd week of April ~ 2nd week of July

Autumn Semester: 2nd week of Sept. ~ 1st week of Dec.

Summer Intensive Course

4 weeks, 3 hour classes, 5 days per week

August 1 ~ August 28

The Summer Intensive Course is designed for Basic I, II, & III levels. The texts and materials from the Regular Semester courses are covered, with particular emphasis on oral-aural practice. The applicant's level is determined through a placement test and/or an interview. Successful completion of the course allows the student the right to join the next class level the following semester.

Tuition and Payment

Registration Fee: 5,000 yen

Language Program: 85,000 yen

(Both Regular and Summer Course)

Seminar Classes: 1,500 yen

Private Lessons: 4,000+ yen

Non-language student membership fee: 10,000

Enrollment

  • Enrollment is complete when the application form has been accepted and the initial payment of \40,000 has been made (\5,000 registration fee and \35,000 tuition down payment guarantees enrollment in class).
  • The remainder of the tuition is to be paid at the onset of the semester.
  • Registration fees are charged for the first semester only.
  • Textbooks are to be paid for upon receipt.
  • Enrollment should be completed by the beginning of the semester.  Admittance of new students mid-term is permitted only if the applicant's level of ability is such that he/she can work into a given class without disrupting the progress of that class.  This will be determined by the teacher in charge of that particular class.  If for some reason the student must resign from his studies, he is obligated to pay the full tuition.  All payments are non-refundable.
  • For the student that is not able to addend three classes a week, the days of attendance must be defined before the beginning of the semester.  Only then will pro-rating be considered.
  • Classes are limited to 10 students, on a first-come basis.
  • The Center does not provide accommodations; however information about housing is available on request.
