Otsu branch of Shiga prefecture's
Moriyama sheltered school is prepared for primary school children and
junior high school pupils hospitalized in Otsu Red Cross Hospital.

If you have a sickness child, please consult us at any time.

When we are hospitalized ,we think it is important to cure
the disease, but in the case of children not only medical treatment
in a sanatorium but also receiving education is important to cure
faster and enhance the life quality for hospitalized children.
Anyone who is hospitalized in pediatrics of Otsu Red Cross Hospital
can receive education in our school.
As saying sickness depend on one`s mind,it is suit in the case of
hospitalized children they will become more and more cheerful
and vigorous through the education activity.

They study subjects as a matter of course ,and they participate
the events such as a sports meeting and a cultural festival as
thinking their own physical condition.
When they can not move from a bed,they play and study by pleasure
chatting and fun subjects or bringing note type personal computer
according to children`s physical or mind condition so that they can
go back to a local school smoothly when leaving hospital.


Getting along with a disease after leaving hospital ,they practice
cocking of cure food with their own idea and select a item of sports
meeting with a consideration of keeping quiet.

For the sake of enjoying a life well and pleasurably in a local
school and a region we build up a connection with a local school
and a region.


Keeping away from the deficit of a disease for a high school entrance
examination,
We direct the subject so that they can take a basic academic ability
and application ability and we work in a closer connection with
a local school and a course desired party and we struggle against
putting their wish into practice even in a hospital.

If children need about six month cure period including attending
a hospital as an outpatient even if hospitalized period is one month,
they can attend our school to study and join a club and activities
which will enrich a life in a hospital.

This symposium is held as a plan of 4th research
meeting of Japan research institute of sickness people.
And its object is that a lot of public person will
participate and learn and discuss about education of
hospitalized children in the future.
Please come to our symposium with an acquaintance.
