Two Cases of Dermoid Cyst in the Floor of the Mouth

   Dermoid cysts of the floor of the mouth are relatively rare. We present two cases of large dermoid cysts of the mouth that were successfully excised by an intra-oral approach. Although CT, MRI and ultrasonography are useful for diagnosing cystic lesions, some cases do not demonstrate typical findings. In our cases, pre-operative test puncture was helpful for the differential diagnosis. Pre-operative diagnosis and surgical approach to this disease are discussed.
