At this level, Stimu-Con
Usage Games provide students with an "occasion"
to make good use of their conversational fluency, knowledge of
the linguistic system, and the foreign culture. Language teachers
- for the first time - are able to completely track or
test their students' interactional exchanges even in large, "multi-level"
classes. Teachers can easily identify the source of their students'
mistakes: grammar, forms of the language, lack of knowledge about
language conventions or the target culture, translation from
the Japanese, and so on. |
